Wimsey the Manhattan Bloodhound: A Comedy of Many Errors follows the adventures of Wimsey, a ridiculous, 125. lb. bloodhound living on Manhattan's Upper West Side who does his best to disrupt the schemes of his owner's friend Elizabeth to show him, model him, and turn him into a canine TV star. Whether disrupting photoshoots, baying his way through Westminster, or hobnobbing with celebrities, Wimsey was as impossible to ignore as he was to train. Nothing sad or serious here, just plain, unadulterated bloodhound fun.

Every picture looks better with a hound in it--even if it was painted by Leonardo. So says Wimsey, the adorable and comically egotistical bloodhound who inserts himself into the world's great art masterpieces and then explains why his presence improves the painting. It's an easy, entertaining and fun way to learn about art history and art appreciation. Wimsey's lively commentary and memorable artistic "improvements" ensure that his readers might never look at a painting the same way again.

Take a tour of Manhattan's most famous attractions in the company of Wimsey, a lively and entertaining bloodhound who lives in New York and provides fun photos of himself visiting the sights as well as useful information about all the attractions. Dog lovers and junior armchair travels welcome.

Bio

My name is Elizabeth Silverman and I am a native New Yorker and dog lover. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in biology (but with enough credits in literature to have majored in it!), a graduate degree in genetics from Columbia, and an MBA from NYU. I am a former Wall Street biotechnology analyst and when not writing investment research reports and analysis and guides to gene therapy and genomics, I volunteered at the ASPCA. I am a member of The American Bloodhound Club, enjoy wine, travel, and have an addiction to writing humor.
